The Boston Celtics entered Wednesday's game against the Sacramento Kings as the clear favorite. But after the final buzzer, it was the Kings who came out on top, 116-111. After the loss, Jaylen Brown wasn't too impressed with the Celtics' performance and their overall record.

Brown pointed out their subpar 11-9 record, including dropping six of their last 10 games. The talented forward believes they haven't played to their full potential as they still need to iron out some issues on the floor (via NBC Sports).

“We're 11-9. We got a long way to go. I can definitely play better. Just play with more energy and stuff like that. Get healthy. Right now, we're 11-9 but we still have a lot to improve.”

Brown, who's having a stellar season, finished with 21 points on 7-of-18 shooting and added three rebounds and four assists. He struggled in the first half but turned things around after the halftime break. Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with a near triple-double of 27 points, nine rebounds, and 10 assists.

While it was a relatively close game throughout, the Kings ran away in the fourth quarter behind De'Aaron Fox. The southpaw speedster scored 13 of his 26 points in the final frame. He also had 11 dimes. Harrison Barnes also got involved with 24 points, while Tyrese Haliburton chipped in 21 more off the bench.

As Brown pointed out, their win-loss record isn't exactly ideal as the Celtics continue to be ravaged by injuries. Against the Kings, they didn't have Marcus Smart (left calf injury), Kemba Walker (left knee), and Payton Pritchard (MCL sprain).

Jaylen Brown and the Celtics will play the third game of their five-game Western Conference road trip on Friday against the Los Angeles Clippers.
