Boston Celtics swingman Jaylen Brown has been dealing with a knee injury that has caused him to miss some games now. While the Beantown team doesn't believe it is a serious injury, the 24-year-old is in jeopardy of missing their showdown versus the Utah Jazz.

Ahead of Tuesday's game against the Jazz, Brown has missed the past two games for the Celtics. Brown suffered the knee injury during Boston's narrow loss to the Sacramento Kings last Wednesday.

As of the moment, the Celtics are saying that Brown is just suffering from knee soreness. Even though it is a day-to-day injury, Boston is taking a cautious approach with their young star in hopes he can get back to 100 percent.

Before sustaining the knee injury, Brown was having a career year. The former No. 3 overall pick was recording a career-best 26.4 points per game while also contributing 5.5 rebounds and 3.6 assists. His 51.8 percent shooting from the field and 42.4 percent shooting from beyond the 3-point line are also career-highs.

Amid Brown's absence, the Celtics have had to rely on Jayson Tatum more on the offensive end. Kemba Walker has also seen his minutes increased. However, Boston definitely missed Brown's presence on the floor during Sunday's loss to the Phoenix Suns.

Besides Jaylen Brown, Marcus Smart and Romeo Langford are also dealing with injuries for the Celtics. If Brown is forced to miss the contest with the Jazz, then Boston would be shorthanded against the team with the best record in the NBA.
