The Boston Celtics came out firing on all cylinders in Game 4 of the East Finals on Monday, pummeling the Miami Heat 102-82. Jayson Tatum, who bounced back and dropped 31 points, revealed the key to victory for his squad: Setting the tone right from the tip-off.

“Urgency. That was a focal point coming into this game. Have a sense of urgency on both ends of the floor, from start to finish. Really started the game better obviously than we did last game. That's something that we talked about and something that we executed.”

The Celtics destroyed the Heat in the first quarter, outscoring them 29-11. Around the three-minute mark of the period, Miami only had a single point. While Jimmy Butler and Co. did struggle on both ends in this contest, Boston imposed their will and proved why they're a legitimate title contender.

The C's played with little urgency in Game 3 and made sure to change that on Monday. The attention to detail was on point for all 48 minutes. It also helps that Tatum showed out after a poor showing on Saturday. This is the best defensive team in the Association for a reason. If the Celtics can continue to be consistent throughout the series, they'll have a legitimate chance of knocking off the top-seed in the East and booking their spot in the Finals.
