The Boston Celtics are always contending for a spot in the NBA playoffs, so it's understandable that the pressure is high on them. However, it seems like Kemba Walker is not affected by the pressure surrounding the club. Semi Ojeleye, who has been with the team since 2017, is fascinated that Walker is positivity in human form.

According to Ojeleye's interview with TalkBasket.net, he hasn't encountered positivity similar to that displayed by Walker:

“His demeanour is always high. I’ve never seen a guy that will miss a shot and always smile. It’s good to have a guy like that, it lifts everybody’s spirit and I think it just helps everybody loosen up. In a league where there’s a lot going on around you, it helps to have a guy like that, that tries to boost everybody.”

There are two plausible reasons why Ojeleye made this observation.

One of these reasons may have something to do with Kyrie Irving. Irving is a great player, but his moodiness as a member of the Celtics is no secret at this point. For Ojeleye to experience something other than Irving's bizarre leadership is probably a shock to the system.

Another angle to take is the fact that Walker is finally with a title contender. While the East is as open as it can be, he can compete for an NBA title with this team. The fact that Walker is finally with a team that knows what it takes to win an NBA championship should be more than enough reason for him to be happy, especially after a bunch of tough years in Charlotte.

Whatever the reason is, Walker's positivity is paying dividends on the court. Through 24 games, he's averaging 23.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 5.2 assists a night on 43.2% shooting. Fans hope that his positive approach to life and the game will help the 18-7 C's make a serious run for the title in the process.
