It seems that the Boston Celtics are well on their way to the Eastern Conference semi-finals after taking Game 3 of their best-of-seven first round playoff series against the Indiana Pacers earlier tonight.

The Celtics led for the majority of the game and were able to keep their composure when the Pacers attempted to come back. Boston was able to get much-needed stops on the defensive end and didn't waste the extra possessions by hitting clutch baskets to finally take the 104-96 victory.

The Celtics are now 3-0 against the Pacers.

After the game, Celtics guard Kyrie Irving told reporters that the team is starting to figure out how to play together, which is one of the main reasons why they have won the last three games.

“We just had time just to figure it out. Now that the stakes are at their highest, the pressure, I feel like we’re settling into who we really want to be, and that’s just an overall great team.”

Irving led the Celtics' balanced attack against the Pacers, finishing with 19 points and 10 assists. With the talent that Boston has, Kyrie doesn't really need to score a lot of points because those could come from literally everyone on the roster.

Five Celtics scored in double figures. Game 4 of the series will be on Sunday at Indiana, where Boston will look to complete the sweep of the Pacers.
