Kyrie Irving and the city of Boston have beef. There is no denying that. Irving was recently was fined for profane language and flipping off Celtics fans in the Nets' postseason game against Boston. Kevin Durant attempted to explain why Celtics fans displayed hostility towards Irving.

“It’s rooted in love. They once loved you…had life altering experiences coming to games watching you play. So when it gets ripped from them in a trade…it feels like a piece of them is gone too.”

But Fox Sports's Nick Wright attempted to breakdown the beef between the two parties as well. The difference was that Wright did not sugarcoat a single thing in his explanation.

“Here is the timeline. Signs with Celtics. First year there, doesn't go great. He skips out on game 7, didn't sit with the team on the bench, that was odd. Then that summer, ‘I'll be here for life if you'll have me.' Immediately begins planning to play with Kevin Durant.”

Nick Wright is a controversial sports analyst. But he drew up the timeline pretty well.

He continued his rant on Kyrie Irving.

“Then we get to the playoffs. ‘Hey guys, I got Giannis. I'll guard him. Meanwhile, Giannis will baptize me, I'll go 6-18 in every single game and then leave. Then, when I finally come back, I'll step on that stupid leprechaun's face and then be like oh, why does everybody hate me.'”

Wright continued his spiel and the entirety of it can be found in the video posted above. Although his breakdown may have been a big exaggerated, it gives a quick synopsis of Kyrie Irving's time in Boston and why Celtics fans do not like him anymore in brutally honest fashion.
