Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart has no hard cap on his minutes for tonight's Game 6 against the Milwaukee Bucks, but coach Brad Stevens said he won't play 35 minutes, claiming “anything below that is game,” according to A. Sherrod Blakely of NBC Sports Boston.

Smart was one of the catalysts in the Celtics' pivotal Game 5 win over the Bucks, giving them a 3-2 lead in the series. The savvy defensive ace got his hands on a near-strip on the ground and delivering it to Al Horford, putting the game away.

Asked about the importance of wrapping up this series tonight on the road, Smart was nonchalant in response.

“It’s like any other game,” he said, according to Tom Westerholm of MassLive. “It just matters a little more.”

Smart only played 25 minutes after returning from a thumb injury that had kept him out through the end of the regular season, putting up nine points, five rebounds, four assists, three blocks, and a steal — the usual mixed platter the Celtics have become used to with him coming off the bench.

His spark off the Celtics bench as well as his cagey defensive play will be needed, as Boston will be tasked with winning on the road for the first time in this series, hopeful to eliminate any sort of hopes of a Game 7 for the seventh-seeded Bucks.
