There isn't much to say about Paul Pierce. After being drafted by the Celtics in 1998, Pierce had to work extremely hard to obtain his success.

In Boston, Pierce played through one of the darkest years in Celtics history. After winning a championship in 1986, the Celtics failed to taste championship glory again in an era followed by Michael Jordan's dynasty in the 90s, and the Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal dominance of the early 2000s.

While these legends won numerous championships over the years, Pierce stayed patient and formed his own superstar team in 2008. Pierce helped the Celtics secure their 17th championship, ending a 22-year title drought.

Since then, Pierce has been universally known as “The Truth”, a moniker he obtained for his high-octane scoring prowess and clutch shooting. Now that Pierce is 40 years old and retired, he has officially settled down into ordinary life. Though, the future Hall-of-Famous hilariously had no idea of how to use technology, namely social media.

In order to prove this thesis, here is a tweet that Pierce originally sent out on Wednesday afternoon.

It looks very weird, right? After realizing his error, he quickly sent out another tweet to clarify what he was trying to say.

The funny thing about all of this is that Pierce didn't even bother to delete the previous tweet. Maybe he had no idea of how to delete the tweet in the first place. In any case, every player has their weaknesses. For Pierce, it appears that technology is going to take some getting used to. Hopefully, he will get social media down packed before he makes a more serious error.
