Everyone in the Boston Celtics locker room knows that the team has a problem, even seldom-used forward Semi Ojeleye.

Ojeleye didn't even play a single minute in the Celtics' 115-104 loss to the Houston Rockets at TD Garden, but he made his presence felt when he had an outburst early in the third quarter, with the team trailing by 28 points — the biggest margin in the game.

“Wake the f–k up,” the second-year man shouted during the team's timeout, per Jay King of The Athletic.

Semi Ojeleye admitted that it's not in his nature to be the loudest voice, but he pointed out that nothing is going right for the team and it seems they are splitting apart — with the season “wasting away.”

“I don’t normally do that, but I felt like we were kind of splitting apart,” Ojeleye said during a quiet moment at his locker. “And I think we have to try to change it. I mean, the season’s wasting away. In the NBA teams are only together for so long. So it’s time to change it.”

The Celtics managed to cut the Rockets' lead to just eight points at one point in the payoff period, but in the end, they fell short and bowed down to the surging Houston team.

Now, the Beantown squad has lost five of their last six games since the All-Star break. They are currently fifth in the East standings with a 38-26 record, an unusual place for a team that was largely expected to dominate the conference.

It remains to be seen if they can get out of their rut, but the Celtics players should probably heed the advice of their teammate and “wake the f–k up.”
