The mantra for the Boston Celtics throughout the entire 2018-19 campaign was to just wait until the playoffs.

Many expected the Celtics to finish atop the Eastern Conference this season, with some even saying Boston could win in excess of 60 games. Instead, the C's ended up fourth in the East and totaled 49 victories, their lowest output since 2016.

But, as some felt would happen, the Celtics have looked different in the playoffs, sweeping the feisty Indiana Pacers in the first round and stealing home-court advantage from the top-seeded Milwaukee Bucks thus far in the second round.

Boston guard Terry Rozier says that the reason for the team's postseason success through the first six games is the mood in the locker room:

“The energy is great now,” said Rozier, according to Jackie MacMullan of ESPN. “We're together. Not like before.”

Aside from Game 2 against the Bucks on Tuesday night when the C's were thumped by 21 points, the Celtics have looked a heck of a lot more cohesive in the playoffs, and Rozier in particular looks more comfortable and seems to be embracing his role.

You can see why Boston had some struggles during the regular season.

The team had to rework Kyrie Irving into the lineup after making it to the Eastern Conference Finals without him last spring, and on top of that, the C's also had to incorporate Gordon Hayward, who missed all but a few minutes of last season courtesy of a gruesome broken leg injury.

The Celtics will play host to the Bucks in Game 3 on Friday evening.
