Boston Celtics big man Tristan Thompson has made headlines again for all the wrong reasons. The 30-year-old is in the center of a cheating scandal with IG model Sydney Chase, and at this point, it's getting ugly.
Chase earlier alleged that she and Thompson had sexual intercourse since the time the Celtics star got back together with ex-fiance Khloe Kardashian. The IG model also claims that she has received several salacious text messages from Thompson.
For his part, Thompson has vehemently denied any and all allegations and is now seeking the help of his legal team to address Chase's claims. According to TMZ Sports, Thompson's camp has already filed a cease and desist order against Chase in relation to her allegations:
In the letter, obtained by TMZ, [Thompson's Attorney Marty Singer] calls her allegations “malicious defamatory fabrications,” adding … “Mr. Thompson had no relationship with you whatsoever and he never sent you any such texts.”
Singer goes on to accuse Chase of making up quotes from Tristan and having no proof to back up her claims, and blasts her by saying, “It is obvious that you are a liar.”
It is also worth noting that according to TMZ Sports, Thompson's camp has also grown suspicious of Chase's motives here. The IG model is reportedly in negotiations to star in her own reality TV show, and there is some suspicion that she is doing this as a publicity stunt.
For her part, Chase has reportedly stated that she has yet to receive the cease and desist letter. She also went on to say that, “let this be a lesson to not let anyone no matter the money or fame they have, to shut you down or tarnish your name.”
This is not the first time Thompson has been involved in a cheating scandal. A few years ago, Thompson and Kardashian broke up following news of the Celtics big man having an affair with Jordyn Woods, the (former) best friend of Khloe's sister Kylie Jenner.
