The ‘free throw flinch' is one of the funnier things to spot during a basketball game. The move consists of a player waiting for an opponent to shoot a free throw wildly flinching as the shot bricks off the rim, insinuating they are legitimately scared of the incoming brick.

Former Boston Celtics center Al Horford, who signed with the Philadelphia 76ers, is a known master of the move, and it seems like his legacy will be continued on the team with rookie Grant Williams. The 22nd overall pick of this year's draft pulled off the move in Summer League to the delight of Celtics fans:

Williams has already enamored himself to Celtics fans who have dubbed him as a younger reincarnation of Horford. While the two bear some resemblance, Williams has a long way to go to fill Horford's shoes.

Like Horford, Williams is a solid scorer on the interior. He has a face-up jumper and some decent post moves. He uses his lower body strength to get closer to the rim, where he finishes well. Williams shot 56 percent from the field in his last year at Tennessee, showing good efficiency.

Defensively, Williams is not an outstanding athlete but plays smart. He protects the rim and is more nimble than most big men of his size, allowing him to switch on to faster wings and guards.

Grant Williams and Horford share lots of attributes. The rookie has the free throw flinch down, now he needs to learn a few more patented Horford moves.
