Another game, another game-winner. The clutch shots keep on pouring at the start of the 2019-20 NBA regular season, as Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum is the latest player to put on his cape and carry his team to victory.

With the game between the Boston Celtics and New York Knicks knotted at 102 apiece with under five ticks left in regulation, Tatum caught an inbound pass and quickly made his move in the right wing just outside the arc.

He freed himself with a deceiving jab step and launched a step-back jumper, which found the bottom of the net and sent the Beantown crowd in a frenzy. The shot was ruled a two-pointer, giving the Celtics a 104-102 lead.

The Knicks still had 1.3 seconds on the clock but had no timeouts at that point. The Celtics defense forced them to take a desperate cross court heave which was intercepted by the home team.

The Celtics improve to 4-1 while the Knicks drop to 1-5.
