The Boston Celtics fell to the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday night by a final score of 129 to 120. After the game ended, Marcus Smart stalked after a referee and had to be restrained after he felt the whistle was far too harsh on him to end the game:

The Celtics were up by three points with only 0.02 seconds left in the game when Smart was called for a three-shot foul on Caris LeVert, which was his fifth. He would later foul out early in the overtime period.

Celtics had control for pretty much the entirety of the game, save for some early first-quarter sparring, and had built up a substantial 21-point lead in the middle of the third quarter. However, it was not to be, as LeVert of the Nets erupted for a whopping 51 points – 37 of which came in the 4th quarter and overtime.
