Markelle Fultz to the Boston Celtics has felt like a done deal for some time now.

Fultz has long been considered the most talented prospect in this class, Fultz recently decided to only work out for the Celtics and no other player has really emerged as someone that will unseat Fultz as the top pick.

Apparently the Celtics haven't decided yet.

According to ESPN's Chad Ford, the Celtics are also considering Lonzo Ball, De'Aaron Fox, Josh Jackson and Jayson Tatum with that top pick.

The report doesn't suggest the Celtics are down on Fultz or anything like that, just that they are exploring other options as well.

One precaution from taking Fultz is that he is a point guard and maybe his fit alongside Isaiah Thomas wouldn't be ideal. Both are score-first guards and while many believe the pairing can work, Boston could look in another direction.

Ball and Fox are more traditional point guards and then Jackson and Tatum are forwards. Ball of course has drawn more attention than any prospect since the college season ended due to he and his father's desire for the former UCLA guard to get drafted by the Lakers at No. 2.

It will be interesting to see what unfolds between now and the Draft for the Celtics with this top pick. Despite this report, it is still most strongly believed Fultz will be their guy at No. 1.
