Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his fiancée, Brittany Matthews, held their own gender reveal party this week.

The reveal involved a pair of ribboned dogs and confetti, with Mahomes and Matthews tweeting out the video and captioning it with the hashtag “Girl Dad,” a phrase since made more prominent following the death of Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant.

There will be a mini Mahomes coming to the world, and she should be so lucky as to have the same athletic prowess as her famous father.

The former MVP has been up to his usual tricks for the Chiefs this year, ranking third in the NFL in passing yards (1,699) and third in touchdowns (15) while throwing just one interception and leading the Chiefs to a 5-1 start.

Mahomes will hope to lead Kansas City to a second straight Super Bowl title this season, but he can also look forward to the birth of a baby girl.
