Los Angeles Clippers guard Patrick Beverley is expected to miss several games after spraining his wrist against the Utah Jazz this past Saturday.
However, Clippers head coach Doc Rivers is not expecting Beverley to be out for too long:
Regarding the right wrist sprain suffered by Patrick Beverley on Saturday, an injury that will keep him out today, Doc Rivers said there's "really no timeline" on his recovery.
He added: "I don’t think it’s that long, but he’ll be out a couple games, for sure.

Patrick Beverley has appeared in 29 games for the Clippers this season. The Chicago native is averaging 8.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.3 assists while shooting 41.3 percent from the field, 32.8 percent from beyond the arc and 59.3 percent from the free-throw line.
Article Continues BelowBeverley re-signed with the Clippers this past offseason on a three-year deal worth $40 million. He has career averages of 9.0 points, 4.4 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 409 games with the Houston Rockets and Clippers.
Beverley also re-signed with Adidas on a new multi-year shoe deal in September. He doesn’t have a signature shoe with Adidas like Damian Lillard, James Harden and Derrick Rose, but he’s still one of the more high profile players to have an endorsement deal with the company. Beverley is one of the best perimeter defenders in all of basketball and plays with tremendous passion and grit.
The Clippers entered Tuesday's matchup against the Sacramento Kings with a record of 23-11, which is good for third place in the Western Conference standings.
For the first time in franchise history, the Clippers are legitimate title contenders with superstars Kawhi Leonard and Paul George leading the way. The Clippers are already 2-0 against LeBron James, Anthony Davis and the Los Angeles Lakers.
