The Milwaukee Bucks faced the new-look L.A. Clippers on the same day as Giannis Antetokounmpo's birthday in what could be a preview of the 2020 NBA Finals in June. It was all but an exciting match as the Bucks obliterated the Clippers on Friday en route to a 119-91 victory.

After the game, Clippers head coach Doc Rivers joked that they just gave the game to the Bucks as their personal birthday present to the Greek Freak, who turned 25 on Friday.

Doc Rivers emerged from the locker room Friday night and tried to come up with a clever reason for the LA Clippers' worst loss of the season.

“It was Giannis' birthday, and we searched all over the city to find a gift, couldn't find one, so we gave him this one,” Rivers said via Ohm Youngmisuk and Eric Woodyard of ESPN.

The Clippers started out the game flat as the Bucks raced out to a 30-15 lead at the end of the first period. Playing catch-up for most of the night, L.A. saw Milwaukee establish a 25-point by the end of the third quarter, essentially ending the game at that point of the match.

Antetokounmpo celebrated his 25th birthday with a 27-point, 11-rebound evening to lead the Bucks to their 14th straight victory. The Greek Freak had a lot of fun last night with their team cruising and the Milwaukee fans giving out their birthday greetings in unison during the game.

Milwaukee stayed on top of the East with a 20-3 record, which is tied for best in the NBA with the Los Angeles Lakers. On the other hand, the loss gave the Clips a 16-7 record and dropped them to fourth in the loaded Western Conference.
