Dennis Schroder has agreed last month to a four year, $70 million contract extension to remain with the Atlanta Hawks. This proves how committed the team is to him and how big his role to the team's future will be.

The 23-year-old German seems to also be happy living in the city and has invested in a new business in downtown Atlanta, DS17 Lounge. But after everything good that has happened to him recently, some bad news came.

His bar failed and got a really low rating during its health inspection. Some of the items it didn't meet the standards were “failure to maintain potentially hazardous foods at 41 degrees F and below” and not having soap at the hand-washing stations, in the kitchen or drink stations.

This is certainly not good for his business especially because it has already been operational since earlier this year. It has also been the venue where his Schroder's contract extension party will be held this Saturday.

The lounge is still open and was not forced to close as it was given time to rectify the violations until the next inspection of the local public health department.
