We all know just how fierce the rivalry has been this season between the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres. They’re two of the best teams in the big leagues and are fighting hard for that National League West title alongside the surprising San Francisco Giants.
Well, it appears that it’s not only the teams who hate each other. So do Dodgers and Padres fans. On Tuesday night at Petco, two supporters got into it in the stands over their respective clubs and it was absolutely wild.

Kind of a sad excuse for a fight to be honest but hey, they tried. The Dodgers fans are clearly on edge after San Diego took the first two games of their three-game set ahead of the series finale on Wednesday night.
As of right now, the Dodgers sit three games behind the Giants for the NL West lead, while the Padres are four behind San Fran. This is absolutely one of the most competitive divisions in baseball and both LA and San Diego are going to have a very tough time winning it.
Clearly, though, tensions are high and the supporters have a lot of hate for one another. It seems to be a common occurrence across several sports right now, with fights breaking out during the NBA Playoffs, too.
Fans. You need to chill. It’s just a sport.
