The Atlanta Falcons are a dismal 1-4 on the season and team owner Arthur Blank is not a happy man. However, Blank does not currently want to feed into the recent rumors surrounding Falcons head coach Dan Quinn and his status on the hot seat — so it appears, anyway.

“No,” Blank told ESPN after his team's latest loss on Sunday afternoon when asked whether or not a coaching change is needed in Atlanta. “We've got a lot of football left. This staff has performed before. And my hope is they can fix what needs to be fixed and start winning some games.”

After getting beat up by the now 2-3 Tennessee Titans last week, the Falcons follow up a forgettable performance with another loss to an AFC South franchise in Week 5 as Atlanta came up short against the Houston Texans en route to giving up a whopping 53 points in the process.

“Obviously, the coaching is not where it needs to be,” Blank added, via ESPN. “They're challenging themselves, questioning themselves, examining everything they know how to examine. That's all they can do is work really hard at it, take this as seriously as they can, and feel the pain.”

It is worth mentioning that the aforementioned Quinn notably elected to part ways with all three of his coordinators following a disappointing 2018-19 campaign. While Quinn then took over the defensive playcalling himself, he promptly hired Dirk Koetter to lead the offense and Ben Kotwica to run the Falcons special teams unit.
