The Georgia football team is continuing to recruit with the best as their 2025 class is coming together nicely. The Bulldogs recently landed a commitment from five-star linebacker Zayden Walker. Walker is the second five-star to commit to Georgia in the 2025 recruiting class, and the Bulldogs currently have the ninth best class in the 2025 cycle. Things are early, however, so there is a lot of time for that ranking to change.

Zayden Walker recently opened up about his decision to commit to Georgia football, and it sounds like it was a no-brainer for him. The Bulldogs pump out NFL talent, they have a great coach, they're one of the best programs in the country. What's not to like?

“Because they check every box,” Walker said, according to an article from 247 Sports. “Getting me to the next level, making me the best I can be on and off-the-field. Great head coach, good winning program. They really check every box. So it's more of a ‘Why not?' type of deal with Georgia.”

Walker also noted that things just felt different at Georgia. Practices felt different, the way players moved around, everything. There was a different feeling with the Bulldogs.

“Definitely when I went early on, from when I go to other schools, it just feels different,” Walker said. “From a recruiting standpoint, it's just a different type of feel at Georgia, how all the linebackers are running around. Going to other practices, there's walking. It might sound crazy, but it's different at Georgia.”

Zayden Walker is already forming relationships with the rest of the 2025 class

Zayden Walker has been talking with other players in the Georgia football 2025 recruiting class, and bonds are already being made.

“Raylen [Wilson], CJ [Allen], we talk a lot,” Walker added. “They definitely say to come in to work. The linebacker room is going to be filled by a lot of people like you so you might as well get that image in your head that you're coming in to work. Raylen is down from where I'm from. Having a lot of 1-on-1 time with him, I asked him, ‘Did it feel impossible when you first got there?' He said, ‘It's definitely possible. I know how you feel because I felt the same way.' It's big shoes to step in, but it's really just work, put your head down, and your time will come.”

Walked definitely feels good about his decision to commit to Georgia. He is excited to get to campus and start the work.
