Fresh off his big win and a dominant performance at the US Open, Jon Rahm will be looking to win his second consecutive major at the Open Championship this weekend. After finishing six-under-par at Torrey Pines, Rahm will look to build off of that momentum at Royal St. George's Golf Course.

Given his strong play of as of late, Rahm is the favorite to win the tournament, but this time around he will be competing against a loaded field. So with all this in mind, let's take a look at the four players who will be the biggest challengers to Jon Rahm during the Open Championship.

Bryson DeChambeau 

After a quiet showing at the US Open, Bryson DeChambeau will look to bounce back huge and give Rahm a run for his money at the Open Championship. With a powerful swing and sweet putting stroke, DeChambeau has climbed up the ranks and into the PGA elite. Now with him considered to be one of the odds-on favorites in this tournament, there's a strong possibility that he could pull off a big win and stop Rahm from winning back-to-back majors.

Especially considering how motivated he will be after a lackluster performance at the US Open where he didn't even finish in the top 10. If there's a frontrunner to knock off Rahm for the Open Championship, then it's definitely Bryson DeChambeau. Only this time, he'll  have the performance, drive, and endurance to power through and see this matchup to the end.

Dustin Johnson 

A seasoned golfer and winner of multiple of majors, Dustin Johnson is another legit threat to knock off Jon Rahm at the Open Championship. After all, he did win the 2020 Master's Tournament with a record score of 268 while shooting 20-under-par. As a fierce competitor with lots of tournament experience, DJ definitely knows what it takes to win a major that is filled with a deep talent pool.

Eager to win another major title and still just scratching the surface, Johnson has the skill, will, and persistence to outlast Rahm and come away as the winner of the Open Championship. Given his previous successes and current standing, he's definitely got more than a puncher's chance to pull out a win at Royal St. Georges Golf Course.

Having won back-to-back US Opens and PGA Championships in previous years, Brooks Koepka will look to add an Open Championship victory to his ever-expanding trophy collection. With him being the first player in PGA history to win multiple majors in back-to-back years, Koepka definitely has the winning mentality and perseverance to pull off a historic upset and take another major by storm.

With an ultra competitive group set to compete in this year's Open Championship, Koepka will definitely have his work cut out for him, but one thing that can be certain is that you can never count him out in any major. Especially with Koepka looking to build off of his fourth place finish at the US Open and never having won this tournament before.

Rory McIlroy 

Looking to win his first major since 2015, Rory McIlroy has returned to peak form as of late and is a dark horse contender who could overtake Jon Rahm at the 2021 Open Championship. With his well-rounded game and relentless will to win, McIlroy has a great opportunity to return to PGA stardom with a huge win this weekend.

After falling out of the mix in over the past few seasons, McIlroy has bounced back recently and will definitely be a major factor during the Open Championship. If there's anybody who can make a comeback and steal the show this weekend at Royal St. Georges Golf Course, then it's definitely former PGA champion Rory McIlroy.
