Saturday's Hall of Fame ceremony had its fair share of memorable moments. One particular sequence that stood out, however, happened during the latter part of Chris Bosh's acceptance speech. Miami Heat team president Pat Riley was on stage with Bosh and the pair shared a wonderful moment that will have basketball fans everywhere tearing up.

Bosh started out by telling his story about Riley's recruitment pitch in 2010. Apparently, the Heat executive loaned out one of his championship rings to Bosh with the request that he return it once they had won a ring together in Miami. For his part, Bosh thought this was the perfect moment to give it back (h/t NBA on Twitter):

It's funny how Bosh never actually returned the ring to Riley until today. The 76-year-old probably forgot about it too, considering how many he has in his collection.

The fact that Chris Bosh decided to wait for this particular moment is just precious. He clearly appreciates all that Riley and the Heat organization have done for him throughout his career and the newly-inducted Hall of Famer made sure to show his gratitude on the grandest stage of all.

Chris Bosh had a legendary career in the NBA and this iconic moment is absolutely fitting for him.
