The legend of undrafted guard Duncan Robinson continued on Friday night after he dropped 26 points and seven 3-pointers in the Miami Heat's season-saving Game 5 win over the Los Angeles Lakers.

Following the greatest game of his career, the sweet shooter spoke about his relationship with Heat superstar leader Jimmy Butler:

“After Game 2, we had a meeting that night in his room. He had me over, we just chopped it up and talked. He's hard on me, but it's because he expects a lot. I welcome that. I love that. This whole team just wants me to be aggressive and to do my job.” Robinson told reporters.

The 26-year-old did this while sporting a shirt in support of the Heat's injured veteran.

Robinson also offered high praise for Butler, who had another epic triple-double performance in the Finals. The 5-time All-Star finished with 35 points, 12 rebounds, 11 assists, and five steals, and went head-to-head with Lakers superstar LeBron James down the stretch.

Robinson has certainly found his stride after going through a rough start to the series. His scoring has increased as the Finals progressed. In fact, the former Michigan standout went scoreless in Game 1. And slowly but surely, the steady sniper is slowly gaining his rhythm as the Heat look to stay alive in this series against Los Angeles.

Miami made a concerted effort to get better looks for the 6-foot-7 wing. It also helped that the Lakers left him open on a number of occasions. Robinson certainly did not waste those chances, as he went 7-of-13 from beyond the arc in 37 minutes.

The Heat will surely need Robinson to stay aggressive and continue shooting his shot if they want to surprise the entire world.
