Three-time NBA champion Dwyane Wade has been continuously serving as an inspiration for the youth. His influence on and off the court has made the Miami Heat icon popular among young athletes.

Last Friday night, Wade surprised players from the Jr. NBA World Championship when he personally greeted them during their tournament in Orlando. The official Instagram account of the Jr. NBA released a video of Wade holding a special Q & A to enlighten the young players on what it takes to be a better athlete.

In her article for USA TODAY Sports, Alysha Tsuji said that “Per the news release, Wade is the Jr. NBA ambassador this year, but the kids weren’t told that he’d actually be there to talk to them.”

The Jr. NBA platform has brought in young players from every corner of the world to compete against each other and establish camaraderie in the games that they play. This is also a project by the league to carry out a mission of broadening their reach to even the smallest countries across the globe. These young athletes are given opportunities to travel and hone their game along with their peers.

On the other hand, Wade has been a figure of inspiration for the youth as he has established and participated in charity organizations and projects throughout his career. He is noted for paying a sincere visit to the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, where a gunman shot and killed seventeen students back in February.

Meanwhile, Dwyane Wade has yet to reveal his plans of where to play this upcoming season, although he has already stated that it'll be Miami or retirement.
