In his last NBA game ever, Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade made history.

Wade passed Hall of Famer Elgin Baylor for 29th on the NBA's all-time scoring list.

Baylor scored 23,149 points during his legendary playing career. Wade entered Wednesday's game against the Brooklyn Nets with 23,140 points.

Flash passed Baylor in the third quarter:

The Heat were eliminated from the playoffs on Tuesday. It was sad because all of South Beach realized Wade's career was going to end on Wednesday in Brooklyn.

Wade, of course, will be a first-ballot Hall of Famer. He is the best player in Heat franchise history. The Chicago native has won three NBA championships, is a three-time All-Star, was the 2006 Finals MVP and the 2009 scoring champion.

Wade is universally recognized as the third-best shooting guard in NBA history behind Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant. The Heat games are going to be really weird to watch next season without Wade, who will have his No. 3 jersey retired by the franchise.

Wade never cheated the game. He always gave it his all, even when his body wouldn't let him.

It's why he's loved by Heat fans and considered one of the toughest players in league history.
