There has been a lot of talk around the NBA's rule changes ahead of the new season. Game officials will now be cracking down on foul fishing, particularly on offensive players that create contact with defenders in order to draw fouls. As it turns out, however, Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler could not be bothered one bit by this rule change.

Bernie Lee, Butler's sports agent, recently shared a hilarious story of how he tried to warn Butler about the impending rule change. Apparently, the Heat star simply does not care about the same as he constantly brushed Lee off time and time again:

Jimmy Butler telling his agent to shut up is so on-brand. However, what's worth noting here is the fact that the Heat forward walked the walk. No wonder he wasn't concerned with the new rule. As it turns out, he had it all figured out. The fact that he constantly drew fouls in his first taste of real game action in the preseason is a clear testament to this fact.

On Friday, in a 121-100 blowout win over the Boston Celtics, Jimmy Butler went 10-of-11 from the line en route to an impressive 25-point performance. The Heat are going to rely heavily on Butler this season and he will need to be at his very best if they hope to make some noise in a loaded Eastern Conference.
