The Miami Heat received a mix of good and bad news ahead of their Sunday night clash with the Chicago Bulls, with Bam Adebayo available to play and Justise Winslow ruled out of the game.

Both players were listed as questionable heading into the game. A couple of hours before tip-off, however, Miami confirmed their final status.

Adebayo is dealing with a groin contusion, which he picked up after clashing into Washington Wizards guard Ish Smith during Friday's win. While he didn't appear too concerned after sustaining the injury, the young center said that he would reassess his condition on Sunday before taking on the Bulls.

On the other hand, Winslow sustained a lower back strain, joining Goran Dragic on the sidelines. The 23-year-old point-forward also sit out on Friday against the Wizard.

Winslow missed nine games in November after entering the league's concussion protocol. Including their game against the Bulls, he now has 13 missed contests out of 23.

Adebayo's presence is a massive boost for the Heat considering that the Kentucky Wildcats product is putting up 14.3 points, 10.4 rebounds and 4.0 assists on 57.1 percent shooting.

Meanwhile, with Winslow and Dragic out, Kendrick Nunn and Jimmy Butler are expected to handle the playmaking duties.
