Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro was a victim of the dreaded sophomore slump last season. After turning heads during his rookie year, especially during the Heat's run to the NBA Finals, he struggled to maintain his fiery form in the last campaign.

Now, Herro wants to have a bounce-back year and make sure everybody notices him again. That is if people don't mistake him for rapper Machine Gun Kelly. Case in point: Shaquille O'Neal. Herro was a guest on a recent episode of The Big Podcast with Shaq, and for a moment, the Big Diesel himself actually thought Herro was Machine Gun Kelly (via Reddit).

“Whеn I firѕt jumpеd оn I thоught ᴡe ᴡere talking to MGK. I ᴡas gоnna bе likе, ‘Maсhinе Gun man, уou lеt Cоnоr thrоᴡ that ᴡater on уou? Yоu ain’t dо nоthin’ abоut it?'”

Stop playing, big guy.

We all know that Shaq, who helped the Heat won a title in 2006 as Dwyane Wade's partner, loves to joke around. So he might've only been kidding with his remark. Besides, the NBA legend is very familiar with Herro by now after praising him several times during his rookie year.

The Heat got a steal with Herro after plucking him at no. 14 overall in the 2019 NBA Draft. The former Kentucky standout, however, appeared to have mishandled his sudden popularity, causing his poor play last season.

But based on a recent viral photo, it's clear the Heat sniper has bulked up in preparation for the new campaign. Do you even lift, Machine Gun Kelly?
