The Miami Heat have two big free agents this summer in Dwyane Wade and Udonis Haslem. No, they're not as effective as they once used to be, but they're two names that have embodied the Heat franchise and won over the city of Miami during the last 15 years. Wade has had his name linked to Date County, Florida, sometimes called Wade County, while Haslem's nickname is ‘Mr. 305' which is the area code for the city of Miami.

After the season ended, Wade was rumored to consider retirement as one of his options this summer, and Haslem has been a vocal leader and bench veteran more than anything else while seeing a few spot minutes of action.

In an interview with Ira Winderman of the Sun Sentinel, Haslem said that his and Wade's free agency decisions this summer could be linked.

“Me and Dwyane, we talk daily,” Haslem said. “I talked to him on the way here. We have great conversations. We have great conversation. I don't want to talk about too much what we talk about.

“A lot of the conversations that we’re having, hopefully we can make a decision together. But we both know that doesn't always work out the way we hope it to.”

Wade and Haslem were both drafted together in the 2003 NBA Draft, and both have helped the Heat to win all three championships in franchise history during this last 15-year period. Heat fans surely want to see both players back, and both still seem to have a lot to give to the game, so it wouldn't be surprising to see them give it another go.
