Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges put in his request for ‘Dunk of the Year'. In a game Sunday afternoon against the Atlanta Hawks, Bridges went up and over center Clint Capela for the massive one-handed slam.
Clint Capela, you have been posterized.

Despite Bridges' best effort, putting up a team-high 23 points to go with seven rebounds, two assists, and a steal, the Hornets fell to the Hawks 105-101.
Following the game, Bridges gave his thoughts on the highlight-reel play.
"Honestly, I just be jumping." – Miles Bridges on his dunk vs. Capela. He also says thats in his top-3 dunks of all time.

Bridges teammates off the bench, especially LaMelo Ball who was in street clothes were in absolute awe of the posterized dunk.
That's a big statement from the 23-year-old who participated in the 2019 NBA Slam Dunk Contest. Miles Bridges didn't win the Slam Dunk Contest, Hamidou Diallo did, however, he did have one of the best slams of that evening that was worth the perfect 50 he got.
Miles Bridges has been having himself a solid season with the Hornets who sit in fifth place in the Eastern Conference. He's been a big part of the team's success this season and with the absence of Ball, has been inserted into the starting lineup.
Now the question becomes, is it the Dunk of the Year? There really is only one other option and that came from Minnesota Timberwolves rookie and number one overall draft pick Anthony Edwards for what he did against the Toronto Raptors.
One thing is for sure, if Miles Bridges continues to make plays like this, it will only be a matter of time before he becomes a household name.
