Hickson was the 19th pick in the 2008 draft by Cleveland. He holds career numbers of 9.5 points and 6.8 rebounds. In the 2012-2013 season, he averaged a double-double for the Blazers.

J.J. Hickson initially held quite a promise with his athleticism during his early years. But questions regarding his defense, focus, and intensity prevented him from realizing his true potential. Hopefully, this pit stop injects that drive in order for him to get another shot in the big league.
