The Houston Rockets came in to the Toyota Center on Thursday with their backs against the wall, and knew that they had to play with a lot of urgency to force a winner-take-all Game 7. However, it was the San Antonio Spurs who came out like a house on fire and took a huge lead early on. They were able to sustain the momentum and complete the huge victory on the night.

James Harden had a forgettable game as he had one of his worst performances of his career. He started very passively and committed a handful of turnovers, which did not help the Rockets' cause at all. He finished the game with only 10 points, on 2-of-11 shooting, with three rebounds and seven assists.

During his postgame interview, The Beard took the blame for his team losing in a blowout. He added, via Matt Moore of CBS Sports, that it's a tough loss and they have no choice but to move forward from it.

“You have to take it for what it is. Everything falls on my shoulders. I take responsibility for it, both ends of the floor.”

“You know, it's tough. Especially the way we lost at home for Game 6. It happened, now we move forward.”

Despite having one of their best seasons in franchise history, their 114-75 loss will definitely be a tough pill to swallow for the Rockets. Their fans are hoping it could motivate their players to play even better next season, and give their best, especially now that they know what it takes to win it all.

Harden on the other hand, should be fired up and could build on the magnificent season he's had this year. He will continue to be relied upon heavily by his teammates to bring in more success to the franchise, which should be more than enough to inspire him to put the disappointing end to the year all in the past.
