Chicago Bulls swingman Jimmy Butler was not shy about asserting his superstar status with the media, following a second straight road win against the top-seeded Boston Celtics on Tuesday.

Butler was heavily guarded by perimeter hawk Jae Crowder throughout the game, sometimes forcing his shot within the game.

“When I'm open I shoot the ball. Sometimes when I'm not open, I shoot the ball,” Butler told reporters according to Bleacher Report's Michael Pina.

The All-Star wing finished with an 8-of-19 shooting night (42 percent) and while not the most efficient, those were the shots he needed to take in order to keep the flow of the game.

The Bulls had six players in double figures, including the entire starting lineup. Their well-rounded attack was the secret to slowly pick apart the Celtics, ultimately taking a 111-97 win back to the Windy City.

Butler logged a game-high 43 minutes and put up 22 points, eight rebounds, eight assists and four steals — giving his team a mixed bag production for the second straight game to take a 2-0 lead in the series.
