UFC commentator Joe Rogan recently spoke out on the incident that saw Mike Tyson beat up a man that was harassing him on an airplane. So far everyone is on the side of the former boxing heavyweight champion and that includes the famous podcaster.
Joe Rogan recently did a podcast with Mike Tyson and was a guest on the former boxer's podcast as well. The UFC legend got to see his mindset firsthand and saw that he was laid back and not known for being aggressive anymore.
“It’s real simple: That dude was a douchebag,” Rogan said on a recent episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast. “He was annoying one of the baddest motherfuckers that’s ever walked the face of the Earth. …
“It’s so dumb! It’s not even kicking a beehive. It’s like smashing – it’s headbutting a beehive.”
The ‘beehive' showed a lot of restraint but eventually, it was just too much for Mike Tyson to take. UFC fighters have been faced with similar situations in the past. Joe Rogan reminded everyone that these are all still regular people and actions have consequences.
“If you find yourself where Mike Tyson’s reaching over the back of an airline seat and punching you in the face, I think you probably earned it,” Rogan said.
The UFC commentator continued on the airplance incident, “People get crazy. They think just because he’s Mike Tyson, he’s famous, he can’t just punch you. You’re annoying him! He’s gonna just fucking hit you like a normal person would.”
