John Wall has reason to be upset, and reports indicate that he is. Wall denies it.

Yesterday, it started with reporting that the relationship and chemistry between Wall and backcourt running mate Bradley Beal wasn't great. Later, it turned into reports that Wall was jealous of the contracts of other NBA stars, including Beal and Houston Rockets guard James Harden.

After seeing those reports circulate around many NBA websites, Wall took to Twitter to speak out.

The headlines probably bothered Wall as much as anything. It's not often an athlete sees a headline he's mentioned in and is absolutely fine with the wording. Wall was clearly bothered and had to let his voice be heard. Nothing he said was too dramatic so it is interesting he decided to delete the tweets. Maybe he just wants to move on and block out the noise entirely now.

Timing for Wall when it comes to his contract wasn't perfect. And seeing so many players get huge pay days this summer might rub Wall the wrong way, especially when he knows he's a better player than a lot of those guys.

Maybe it's not jealously Wall is feeling, and instead just another way to find some motivation. If he keeps playing at the level he is, another huge pay day will come his way and by then he'll have no reason to be jealous of anyone.
