Washington Wizards superstar and one of the best point guards in the NBA, John Wall, is a firm believer in training and staying fit all year around. The NBA is filled with workers, gym-rats who do not take days off, and some of the best players in the game have been huge workers, such as Kobe Bryant and Ray Allen, to name a couple.

However, even these kinds of athletes need some rest and some kind of hobbies, and Wall has given us his hobby – bowling. In an interview with CSN's Chris Miller, Wall said that bowling is his getaway and that he bowls around three or four times a week.

After his Wizards got eliminated in the second round by Boston, Wall has not taken many days off and we can see him already, preparing his game for next season, where he hopes he can lead his team to greater success than this year. However, this training is not all he does, and basketball is not the only sport he excels at.

Apparently, since he was a kid, he was an avid bowler and it made him love the sport. All that practice has paid off, as Wall poses an impressive score for someone who is spending the vast majority of his time in the gym or at the practice court.

“If I put the work in, totally,” Wall said about being a professional bowler. ” I average like 165 without putting the work into it.”

165 is not really amazing, but considering how much time he has to practice, it is very good. From all Professional Bowling Association Tour bowlers, he would be 435th, but that is again without the professional approach.

However, we are sure he is happy being one of the top guards in the best basketball league in the world. After all, when he finishes his basketball career, bowling will wait. Could we see Wall excel in one more sport? Why not.
