The tumultuous 2017-18 NBA season continues for the Sacramento Kings following their 104-109 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. However, point guard George Hill seemingly added insult to injury with a cryptic tweet afterward.

There was speculation that Hill's tweet was a shot at the Kings franchise after suffering its 16th loss of the year. However, the veteran point guard was adamant that the post was in regards to his lackluster performance, according to Kings reporter Sean Cunnigham

It is understandable that Hill would be irritated with his outing versus the Bucks, after finishing with just six points, a steal, and two turnovers. His struggles on Saturday were indicative of the year he has had so far. However, the fact that he also only managed to log in a season-low 18 minutes could also be attributed to his frustrations.

Following a brief stint with the Utah Jazz, Hill signed with the Kings hoping he could play an integral role in a developing Sacramento team. However, his inconsistent play combined with the emergence of rookie point guard De'Aaron Fox has seemingly cut into his workload.

Regardless, Hill should tread carefully as players have seen what happens when they try to subtly lash out through social media. Needless to say, it did not take long for the Phoenix Suns to trade former point guard Eric Bledsoe following his controversial tweet.
