New York Knicks owner James Dolan was the latest high-profile individual in the NBA to test positive for the coronavirus. Unfortunately, this brought about cheering on social media from Knicks supporters, who have become sick of how Dolan has been running the team to the ground. There was also no shortage of jokes from fans around the league.

NBA veteran Andrew Bogut has reacted to this, and it is abundantly clear that the 35-year-old was disgusted with how some fans have chosen to cheer on Dolan's current predicament:

While Dolan is apparently showing “little to no symptoms,” it's still scary to test positive. COVID-19 is a fatal disease, with hundreds of people dying worldwide every single day.

This is why it is indeed quite baffling how some people can cheer on another person's misfortune. The fact that Dolan is 64 years of age even makes him more vulnerable to the disease.

There's probably not a single Knicks fan right now that likes Dolan, as his recent actions have positioned him as public enemy No. 1. New York supporters are some of the most ruthless fans in all of sports, but even this is beyond them.

Dolan testing positive should also serve as a reminder to all of us that the coronavirus spares no one, regardless of how many billions you may have in your bank account.
