Young rookie Immanuel Quickley continues to roll in his debut season for the New York Knicks. On Sunday, the 21-year-old channeled his inner James Harden and pulled off a nasty side-step three to leave the Houston Rockets defense all confused.

That's confidence and elegance all in one smooth jumper – basically what Quickley's MO has been all season long.

Impressive is definitely an understatement when you talk about Quickley's first season in the NBA so far. The Kentucky standout has risen all the way from being an underrated guard who was picked 25th in the 2020 NBA Draft to a likely stint in this season's All-Rookie team.

With an abundance of guards in Tom Thibodeau's roster, it's been hard for IQ to get consistent minutes but once he gets on the court, it's been nothing but poise and buckets so far. Quickley has become one of the key players to come off the bench and infuse New York's second unit with some much-needed energy and scoring. It sure helps his case seeing him drop some fancy buckets like this.

Quickley is quickly becoming an integral part of this young Knicks core led by first-time All-Star Julius Randle and sophomore swingman RJ Barrett. With other youngins like Obi Toppin and Mitchell Robinson in the mix, the Knicks look to be set moving forward.
