New York Knicks rookie Kevin Knox has brought the faith back to Knickerbockers faithful after a rousing display of talent in the NBA's Summer League in Las Vegas, shining as one of the best college products to be selected in this year's draft.

The 6-foot-9 Kentucky star is now getting recognized everywhere he goes in The Big Apple, but that hasn't made him lose sight of the goal at hand.

“Yeah, it's a lot,” he told Mike Vorkunov of The Athletic after an appearance at the NBA Store. “But I just want to make sure I keep staying in the gym, keep working hard. Summer League is just a little glimpse so I'm really looking forward to getting to the season.”

Knox hasn't wasted much time getting to know his NBA contemporaries, living with new San Antonio Spurs star DeMar DeRozan over at his home in Las Vegas, sharing the same financial advisor.

While the two haven't talked much basketball yet, Knox already has leaned on another young teammate, last year's eighth overall pick Frank Ntilikina.

“Frank's a young guy, going into his second year,” Knox said. “So I kind of talk to him a lot about how to get around, coaching styles, stuff like that. It's kinda who I lean on.”

Knox will have ample playing time with Knicks big Kristaps Porzingis on the shelf, but most importantly — a vast insight into what it takes to go through a grueling 82-game regular season after playing only north of 30 games at Kentucky.
