New York Knicks second year small forward Kevin Knox says he's feeling way more comfortable than he did during his rookie season.

Knox says he feels stronger this summer compared to his rookie season with the Knicks and has been working on his ball handling and efficiency.

The Knicks drafted Knox with the ninth overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. The swingman averaged 12.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 75 games this past season while shooting 37.0 percent from the field, 34.3 percent from beyond the arc and 71.7 percent from the free-throw line.

Second-year players usually feel more comfortable since they've seen what the NBA game is like. As you saw with his numbers, Knox wasn't efficient during his rookie season with the Knicks. That will have to change in 2019-20 if New York wants to win more than 17 games.

After missing out on Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant in free agency, the Knicks agreed to free agent deals with Julius Randle, Bobby Portis, Taj Gibson, Elfrid Payton, Wayne Ellington and Reggie Bullock. All six veterans will help Knox, R.J. Barrett, Dennis Smith Jr. and Mitchell Robinson in the locker room and on the basketball court itself. Some believe the Knicks might be able to contend for a playoff spot. We'll see if that happens.
