Following a verbal spat during practice between New York Knicks center Joakim Noah and coach Jeff Hornacek, the organization is looking to part ways with the estranged center, according to Shams Charania of The Vertical. Hornacek did not answer questions regarding Noah's leave for “personal reasons,” but said he might return at some point during the team's road trip according to ESPN's Ian Begley.

With many on the Knicks organization in the midst of trade rumors, star forward Kristaps Porzingis is hopeful that if the front office makes any moves, that they're centered around helping this team move forward this season instead of investing on the long-term, according to Begley.

The Knicks have been rumored to rev up talks to move Noah out of town (once again), as head coach Hornacek has had a tough time satisfying a logjam of four centers in the roster, being forced to give one of them a DNP each game in hopes to keep the flow of a rotation.

Noah has found himself the odd man out, but his massive four-year, $72 million contract remains the biggest impediment for this franchise to make future acquisitions.

New York has been rumored to be willing to move any of their other centers to prevent the logjam that has taken place this season. Enes Kanter, Kyle O'Quinn, and Willy Hernangomez have been forced to split minutes and any of them could be in their way out of town, with the latter two bound to see more interest due to friendly contracts.
