Anthony Edwards has had no shortage of entertaining post-game interviews and after the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the New York Knicks on Wednesday, he took a shot at RJ Barrett. In response to Edwards questioning his ability to make jump shots, Barrett took to Twitter to respond.

Wednesday's contest between the Knicks and the Timberwolves came down to the final possession of the game. With under five seconds remaining in the game, New York got the ball in Barrett's hands, who would take a 20-foot step-back jump shot.

The shot would miss and Edwards pointed out that Minnesota was content with Barrett shooting the ball instead of someone else. Before his miss in the waning seconds, Barrett had an efficient shooting night as he converted eight of his 17 attempts, including three of his four three-point shots.

Throughout the season, Barrett has shown improvement in his jump shot as he's shooting 44.4 percent from the floor thus far. The second-year guard is also making 34.3 percent of his shots beyond the arc, which is up from his 32 percent as a rookie in 2019-2020.

While Edwards has shown loads of potential himself, it's interesting that he would be the one to question Barrett's ability to shoot. The rookie for the Timberwolves is currently shooting only 39 percent from the field and is making 30.8 percent of his three-point attempts.

Minnesota was able to sneak away with a victory over New York after Barrett missed a potential game-winning shot. While Barrett was unsuccessful in making the shot, Edwards just made the next game between the Knicks and the Timberwolves more interesting.
