Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards is a true entertainer on and off the court, and he proved that when he showed up to his postgame interview with a bag of Popeyes.

Following the Timberwolves' narrow defeat to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday, the 2020 No.1 pick brought his postgame meal to his zoom conference call with the media.

Anthony Edwards has plenty of other moments that have made fans chuckle, the most notable being his ā€œmulti-sport athleteā€ interview prior to the season.

While the postgame Popeyes made headlines, Edwards did have a solid outing on the basketball court against the Thunder. Outside of a weird stretch in the first half when Edwards chose to chuck 3-point attempts at the rim in a short time span ā€“all five of his 3-point tries came in a four-minute span in the first quarterā€“he was excellent. The youngster finished with 20 points (going 8-16 from the field and 2-5 from the three), eight rebounds and four assists. He was a crucial piece in the Timberwolves' third-quarter comeback, scoring at the rim at will and staying aggressive overall.

The Timberwolves, who trailed by 21 points at halftime after giving up 83 first-half points, went on a 17-3 run to begin the third quarter. Early in the fourth, they took their first lead of the game and eventually went up by six.

The comeback was impressive, especially when led by a rookie. At the end of the day, getting wins is hard when you spot the other team 2o points. There were still plenty of positives that came out of the game for the Timberwolves, Edwards being one of them.
