Many experts expect the Boston Celtics to dominate the Eastern Conference this season. Returning the core of its roster, plus adding once again healthy talents like Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward, it would make sense that many feel that way.

The lingering question, however, rests on the health of both Irving and Hayward. Have either — or both, for that matter — guys had enough time to fix all ailments? Apparently, thanks to some impressive scrimmages, that answer is a rock solid yes.

According to Ashish Mathur, Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward have looked impressive during Boston scrimmages. While some might scoff at that, since they are only scrimmages, think about how deep a roster the Celtics have, then realize those guys are going up against borderline NBA All-Stars on the regular.

With the season quickly approaching, it will serve Brad Stevens best to make sure his team is as healthy as possible when things go down for real. That being said, injured players do need to rebuild confidence in their bodies, and the only way to do that is by way of live action. Otherwise, a small sense of fear, that their bodies might betray them, could loom.

Anyway, the Celtics are going to be really, really good this season.
