Luke Walton is the new head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers. It’s a decision that makes sense for both parties, as Walton returns to the franchise he played for from 2003 to 2012.

But what exactly convinced the former Laker to return to Los Angeles? Apparently it was a very detailed plan for the future of the franchise.

Free agents will certainly be needed if the Lakers want to climb the NBA ladder again anytime soon. Kevin Durant, DeMar DeRozan, and even some of Walton’s current Warriors players have been linked to the Lakers in free agency rumors throughout this season.

With a new leader at the helm for LA, maybe they’ll be able to bring in one of the primetime free agents the franchise sees in its “vision”.
