The Los Angeles Lakers continue to deal with nagging injuries. From stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis, to role players like Trevor Ariza and Talen Horton-Tucker, it's been a struggle for the purple and gold to stay healthy.

Anthony Davis is sick and tired of it, and for good reason. Lakers head coach Frank Vogel was vocal on where AD stands on overcoming his own injuries woes, particularly after a battered season last year.

Via Harrison Faigen:

“I know this year he's really upset with how last year went and how much time he missed,” revealed the Lakers coach. “So everything that is 50/50 on whether he'll be in or out thus far this year, it's been ‘I'm playing unless I absolutely can't play.' He was upset with how much time he missed last year, so if he can play without major limitations he's going to be in there.”

True enough, Anthony Davis shed his questionable tag for their game against the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday night. He was seen writhing in pain during their last contest with a thumb injury, but decided to play anyway.

The Lakers obviously want to make sure their players get 100% healthy when they return to the court. But having a fired-up Anthony Davis raring to play is never a bad thing.
