There's no denying that the expectations are extremely high for Bronny James. After all, if you're the oldest son of one of the greatest basketball players of all time then surely, you're expected to fill some big shoes. Well, Bronny made quite a case for himself on Friday as he replicated an iconic dunk of his father, Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James, during a high school game.

Bronny took center stage in an AAU game, which incidentally, also had LeBron in attendance. At one point in the contest, Bronny had a free path to the basket on a fastbreak play and so he decided to gift us with this epic flush (h/t Ballislife.com on Twitter):

Look familiar? Well, it's because this is the exact same dunk LeBron James pulled off nearly two decades ago. The folks over on Bleacher Report created a truly jaw-dropping side-by-side comparison of the two dunks and the similarities are uncanny:

Did Bronny just prove that he's LeBron James 2.0 with this monstrous slam? Well, that's debatable but what we cannot deny is that this kid has some hops.

In truth, no one is probably ever going to replicate what LeBron James has done throughout his decorated career — not even his own son. Instead, Bronny is carving his own unique path to greatness, and by the looks of it, this young man definitely has a bright future ahead of him.
